kia ora  hello today we learnt how to compare using cause and effect  using a venn diagram one of the sides of the venn diagram was talking about the elephant the middle was what was the same about both of them and the third one was showing information about the kangaroo this was in the middle of hard and easy for me to do here is my link.

Science Experiment

Kia ora. Today what I did for my Science Experiment was a skittles experiment with water.

We want to see the reaction of the skittles to hot water and cold water. My hypothesis was that the hot water would move the colour faster.

What we did was we got 2 plates, skittles, hot water, and cold water. Then we put the skittles around the plate. Then we poured the hot and cold water on 2 different plates.

What happened was the color on it was turning white at the bottom of the skittles. My conclusion was that the hot water went faster but the cold water went faster and here is a picture of  my  Science Experiment

thanks for reading my writing. 🙂

Get Wise

Kia ora yesterday this person came in and he was talking about get wise. Get wise means get wise on your money or

money and we also learnt is how to not spend your money. First think before spending your money second research

and third check your balance on your card . What I enjoyed is the game we played. What I would like to learn about money is how to save money and how to do tax. Yesterday we did it again but different.

We played this game called holiday trip and we Fiji and my group were wise on are money and we won
which was fun. What the game is about. What the game about is like what you spend on the trip and how

much money you have left and you get 18,00 dollars but not in real life 🙁  but that’s ok. Do you no how to do tax?   thanks for reading my writing 🙂

Technology

Kia ora. Today I went to tech at Te Arata College. We go by bus every Thursday. Miss Tania taught us
sewing. We are making tote bags with environmentally friendly messages on them.

My design has Samoan patterns, some turtles, and words that say’say no to plastic!.

I like that we can listen to music I think it will be hard to trace my design on
the light bed. I have learned to use a sewing pattern. Do you know how to sew ?

Thank for reading my writing 🙂

smoking and vaping

Kia ora what been i editing this morning is my persuasive writing about smoking and i am going to show you what i have been doing and yeah and here it is. I suggest we should stop smoking, let me explain when you smoke. You will get gray skin, yellow teeth and yellow fingertips and wrinkles also it will make your clothes smell, your hair, your home and your car too.  It will cost you thousands of dollars a year so it will be better to spend on great holidays or toys for your kids. to spend on great holidays or toys for your kids. If you have kids, you can also get asthma or cancer through second hand smoke.   When you go to work and you smoke, no one will want to sit with you or no one will be friends with you. When you go home you will smoke from stress from work and you smoke in front of your kids and they will get sick. It will get in your kids lungs. It can cause fluid in the lungs which you could drown from, also they may need to go to the hospital. all know that smoking is very bad, why would you start smoking ? Thank you for reading my persuasive writing 🙂

Dragon Eyes :)

On Friday afternoons, we do Action Stations. This term, I chose to make Dragon Eyes.

First, we read some descriptions of dragons and identified their characteristics.

Then we completed a planning sheet, considering what we wanted our dragon to be like. We thought about personality, colour and features.

I decided i wanted my dragon to be calm and kind. It’s blue and she lives in a cave

After, we used the clay. I rolled it , i smoothed it a bit. I didn’t add scales to my

dragon 🙁 but that’s ok  Finally, we painted them.Thank you for reading my writing:)
